Love shea butter, but tired of fighting to get it out of the bottle? Try my whipped body butter recipe. I use orange, frankincense, and cedar wood essential oils because they’re all amazing for your skin and have anti aging properties! This body butter is excellent as an eye/neck cream, for stretch marks and problem areas, or just as an every day replacement for those toxic moisturizers you get in the store.
(c=cup; t=teaspoon; T=tablespoon)
1 c shea butter
1 T fractionated coconut oil (FCO) + 1 t FCO
1 t vitamin E oil
16 drops orange essential oil (EO)
6 drops frankincense EO
2 drops cedar wood EO
TIP: If you forget about your oil mixture in the fridge, like I just did this morning, your oil mixture will harden. Just pop your stainless steel bowl over a double boiler and stir until the oils melt again. Then chill your oils again for 20 minutes (and set your alarm this time!), then whip!!
