Wow. The last month literally flew by. I didn’t have time to write about her 8 month marker, and thought I would get to it mid-month, but 30 days came and went in the blink of an eye.
So this is a little recap of month 8 and 9. 🙂
Rue is now crawling very quickly! She loves walking her toys around the house, climbing the furniture, and most recently, reaching over her head to grab things off tables and counter tops taller than her.
She is cutting four top teeth and has lost some weight now that she’s mobile. She can wave hello, give high fives, clap her hands, click her tongue, drink from a big girl cup, use the potty, and brush her teeth. She even takes a chewable probiotic now!
Her absolute favorite thing to do is dance. She dances to everything and has officially learned how to shake her bottom while bobbing her head. It’s seriously the most amazing thing to watch. This girl’s got the music in her!
Her favorite foods are apples, bananas, toast with almond butter, broccoli, zucchini, cucumbers, and beans & rice.
She loves eating puffs while listening to mama sing “Old McDonald” on repeat in the car, splashing in the tub, and story time. She even helps turn the pages now.
We’re in awe as we watch her personality develop each day. She knows what she wants and will throw everything else that she doesn’t, straight onto the floor. She’s emotional and moody and very particular about certain things, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love our sweet, smiley, outgoing, chatty baby to pieces.
This month, I impressed Mommy & Daddy by saying what sounds like “Hi” when I wave hello.
